10 Things That Make a Great Road Trip-Music Pt.3

I can’t even begin to fathom how to accurately capture music in a still format. Video is definitely the best format to visually capture music, so I digress the fact that I’m presenting you stills…but nobody is perfect right? Anyways, I still think music is vital to any good road trip. On average we spent 6-8 hours everyday in the car during this road trip. With so much free time, it’s definitely a must to fill this time with quality tunes!

An interesting thought passed my mind really early in the trip, and that was the simple fact that all four of us led separate lives but yet somehow we ended up deciding to do this trip together-converging on this one experience. We all brought to the table a different upbringing, education, dreams, careers, and experience to this journey. I think this sort of diversity is captured in our musical tastes.

A common sight for me, always trailing behind (-_-”)

Soooo many moments were created by music on this trip.

Visceral reactions like: “OH THIS SONG IS MY JAM!”

Funny stories like: “I once rejected a girl because she didn’t like Usher.”

Painful jabs at wonderful people like: “Kenneth, how the heck have you not listened to this song before, did you live in a cave?!” (It happened quite often)

And finding your new vibe like: “Wow! That was beautiful. I loved that!”

Whether it be a deep dive into nostalgia, or discovering new music that you didn’t know you needed. Road Tripping and Music is a beautiful duet between the many miles ahead, and the melodies that become intertwined with your journey.
